Eastbound Jesus: Since 2010, Greenwich NY based band Eastbound Jesus has been playing their combination of high-energy bluegrass and country soul with a healthy amount of rock & roll grit mixed in, Northern Rock as they call it. They've gained a dedicated following throughout the Northeast, packing venues and playing festival stages around the region. Their sound has a raw authenticity that lends itself to the storytelling in their songwriting, making songs feel instantly familiar and relatable. With so much time spent on stage together over the years, they thrive in the live setting with exciting shows that have a contagious energy.
Their annual two day festival the Eastbound Throwdown draws around a thousand attendees each year to Irwin Farm in Salem, NY where the band acts as hosts headlining both nights.
Rhoseway: For the Upstate NY-based singer & songwriter Rob Fleming, RHOSEWAY is the given name of a creative solo project, a truth-telling reflection, and an artistic reaction to the choice to play music at all from years as a writer and performer in other projects. It's an act of free expression through melody, progression, sounds, and words that are based on feel. The music comes from a renewed perspective to create something from nothing.
While a solo project on record, Rhoseway will be performing as a trio for this show.
